Cookie policy
The short version
Two kinds of cookies exist here. Functional ones — your language choice and a session cookie — are needed for the site to work and are set without consent, as EU rules permit. Analytics cookies are set only if you press "Accept all" in the banner. Until you do, nothing is sent to Google at all — not a single request. Decline and the site works exactly the same.
Functional cookies
locale — remembers your language for one year. Session cookie — short-lived, needed for secure form submission; it identifies your browsing session, not you. wc_consent — records the choice you made in the cookie banner so we stop asking, for 180 days. All three are first-party and never shared.
Analytics cookies, only after you accept
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<id>, both first-party and both lasting two years. They give you a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted as one person rather than several, and they record which pages and tools you used. They do not carry your name, your email, or anything you typed. No video, audio or image ever leaves your device — that has not changed and will not.
Browser storage
Separate from cookies, the rating widget keeps a random client token in your browser's localStorage to prevent duplicate submissions and to let you request deletion later. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device except attached to a rating you submit. The tool also uses sessionStorage for cosmetic one-time animations. Neither is analytics and neither requires consent.
Changing your mind
Press Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to bring the banner back and choose again. Withdrawing is one click, exactly as accepting was. You can also delete the cookies in your browser settings; we will simply ask again on your next visit. We re-ask everyone after 180 days regardless.
Who receives the data
Analytics data goes to Google Ireland Limited (Ireland, with onward transfer to Google LLC in the United States), acting as our processor. That transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Data is kept for 14 months and then deleted. Advertising features and cross-device tracking (Google signals) are switched off.
